This is the most experimental song on the album for sure. It started as an improv that I sang into my phone, as many of these songs did. While the other songs have more of a defined structure, and more lyrics, this song from the beginning was going to be very lyrically simple. I wanted to focus to be, as the lyrics suggest, to let it feel good, rather than try to push myself or make it more "sophisticated" or "interesting".

The guitar was a last-minute addition, and I didn't feel like bringing it back at the end of the song. The piano and backing vocals are also entirely improvised... So while in some ways this song feels like an improvised mess that definitely could have undergone many revisions, there's a certain charm and even magic in the madness—how everything comes together, swells and builds, and eventually calms down.

The lyrics are simply...

Let it feel good.

Clear my mind.

Feel my voice.

There are a few instances of "just" added in, apparently my favorite filler word, and some words get switched around ("clear" and "feel") just for funsies!
