Stories With Strangers: Prologue

My debut album, Stories With Strangers, is set for release on August 24, 2018. It's been a long time coming—it contains a selection of pieces that I've composed since the beginning of my journey as a composer. I started composing almost 14 years ago, so just over half of my life. The fraction of my life which I've been a composer will continuously increase as my life goes on, which is pretty cool to think about.

Even though it's been 14 years, I have not yet before released an official collection of pieces, essentially a "Best-Of". I started composing around the end of middle school, continued composing throughout high school, and went to college and earned a BA in Music Composition, but only now do I feel confident enough to really put myself and my music out there.

My new album will come with a complimentary blog post with backstory information about each of the songs. I may continue to do something like this for future albums. I have always absolutely adored the little paper booklet that comes with physical CDs—reading the lyrics and the credits always fascinated me. The complimentary blog post will go a bit further beyond anything I've seen in a physical CD booklet though.

The album will be available for streaming, downloading, and optional purchasing from as many sites as I can figure out how to use! So far that includes soundcloud, YouTube, and bandcamp.
